We offer 3 rooms including a large family bedroom with baby equipment.

The large garden with its many trees offers plenty of shade and a manificent view of the “perigord vert” countryside.

During the warm season, you can freely use our barbecue. We also have table tennis facilities and various other games (rackets, balls, frisbees, water-pistols, etc) For a quieter entertainment, there are board games and books e.g during winter evening.

A hearty breakfast can be served either outside under a beautiful maple or inside beside the fire, depending of the weather.

We hope you’ll enjoy this peaceful haven that we have renovated. Our aim has been to create a calm and friendly environment.

Who we are

On the 1st of April 2018, Marie-Laure, Christian and Fripouille, moved in to their farmhouse in Ladoux.

Marie-Laure and Christian Prince. .. and Fripouille

Both of them are musicians. Marie-Laure is a singer, choir mistress and music therapist, Christian is a pianist and keyboard player. Fripouille, our cat likes to spend his days sleeping on the sofa and at night he goes hunting in the surrounding country-side. He also likes eating, being stroked and admired!

We are privileged to be able to observe a number of different species of birds, sometimes deer passing by and rabbits on their way to our vegetable garden.

Thanks to numerous friends who helped in the renovations, we were able to open our guest house on the 1st August 2018.

This farmhouse which was at one time a bergerie, became a holiday home in the 1930’s. We decided to continue the tradition, adding our own personal touch.

During this past year we have worked hard to finish our project, but this hasn’t prevented us from having the odd musical barbecue…

In calmer moments we have seen to our plantation, picking produce, making jams and conserves, mushroom picking or relaxing by the fireside.

We love the beauty and peacefulness of the surrounding country-side but also but also the friendliness of the people meet, sharing their travels… especially if the sun shining!!!
